Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Candidates have the option of gaining the certification by passing two tests (ICND1 640-822 and ICND2 640-816), or one single test (CCNA 640-802); the two-test option has the advantage of allowing the candidate to focus on certain subjects. The certification is valid for three years; at that time a CCNA holder must either re-take the CCNA or ICND exam, or take and pass an exam for one of the Professional (e.g., CCNP) or Specialist level certifications (excluding the sales specialist exams), or pass the CCIE written exam. These exams are known by their corresponding numbers. When the curriculum of the exam changes the exam number also changes. The current exam number for CCNA is 640-802 (from 15 Aug 2007). New ICND Part1 (640-822 ICND1) and ICND Part2 (640-816 ICND2) available from Aug 2007. Part 1 by itself will give you a CCENT. Opportunity knocks only but once. Missing those opportunities will back fire against you in the future. They're called regrets... Once again I find myself scouring the search engines of Jobstreet and Jobsdb. Waiting is really a taxing job - compared to really working on the job. Sheesh if waiting was a real job, people would have earned millions just doing it. Then again, that cannot happen. I'm resigning because of many reasons. Most of these reasons are a horrible hybrid of professional and personal reasons and bad experiences in the past. Salary. What else? The company has a very primitive compensation package compared to the market. Most people my age working in the same profession in a BPO earns twice what I get every cutoff. And working with that kind of compensation is really hurtful given the daily expenses I incur. I spend 90 pesos everyday for a trip from home to Ayala and vise versa. Even if I pack my own lunch to cut back on costs, I still end up saving nothing for... (more)

Setelah mengubek-ubek dengan semangat ternyata memang tinggal satu-satunya, tanpa perlu berpikir buku ini langsung masuk kantong belanjaan. Kisah dalam buku ini sempat membuat kami-- aku dan ananta-- tertawa geli sekaligus geram. Tanpa banyak komentar, inilah Karlsson si Manusia Atap, Astrid Lindgren gitu lohhh… Keluarga Svantesson tinggal sebuah apartemen di Stockholm. Mr. Svantesson memiliki tiga orang anak. Mereka adalah Bosse, Bettan dan Lillebror. Si bungsu Lillebror berumur 7 tahun (Ananta sempat berkomentar begini " sama dengan adek ya bu ?" dan Ia senang sekali karena mereka seumur hihi ). Been an interestingly long while since my last post. Beginning of a slaaack... Anyway, today's topic started from a haircut. Was getting my monthly 'mushroom head' trim by a pretty traditional barber, and was impressed by the amount of effort he put in it. It wasn't the usual 'electric razor over, random slashes with scissors, polish off with electric razor again' routine, he actually changed razor heads a few times and - this is really rare - used an actual razor for the really difficult bits. I'm no stranger to this, really - had this in army by another traditional *old* barber, and sure enough, the areas he scraped hurt like hell later - but what intrigued me was how surprised I was to encounter this barber after so many years of haircuts. The meticulousness he applied to his craft, the way he can put a razor calmly to the side of a man's neck and expect not to draw blood, reminded me of a story from a sec 2 literature book I had to read: A Dip in the Poole.
